  • Aluminum Alloy Selection: Typically Machined from T6-series alloys like 6061-T6 or 7075-T6, ensuring high strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance.

CNC Machining Process

  1. 5-Axis CNC Milling

    • Simultaneously machines complex swivel geometry—circular flanges, bearing pockets, threads—in a single setup.

  2. Swiss-Style CNC Turning

    • Produces concentric pivot pins, threaded bores, and press-fit surfaces to tight tolerances (±0.005 mm).

  4. Heat Treatment & Surface Finishing

    • Includes T6 heat-treatment (for 6061-T6), followed by anodizing finishing, with optional black, color, or clear oxidization as required.

  5. Assembly & Inspection

    • Assembled with stainless steel bushings/delrin washers, torque-tested at ~5 N·m, and inspected via CMM, surface roughness (~Ra 0.8 µm), and dimensional verification.
